It was was amor at first sip while working in Guatemala. The Mayan family that I stay with lives near Lake Atitlan and several volcanoes. The rich volcanic soil, altitude, and climate are the reason coffee aficionados l-o-v-e coffee from this region. We hope you do too.

The commitment to this brand of coffee started when I learned of my own great-grandmother’s struggle. She was led from Mexico to America with the promise of an education, and was instead forced into child labor as a domestic worker.

Decades later, divorced, and by the sweat of her brow my great-grandmother Maria raised some of the strongest women I know.
